On Time Engineers is searching for a Hardware (Electrical) Engineer work location in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Are you an experienced Hardware Engineer with a passion for electrical design? Do you like to work independently in a multidisciplinary team on innovative projects?

About the position
As Hardware Engineer you are responsible for independently designing and creating electrical diagrams according to specifications. You ensure that the realization of electrical installations meets legal requirements in the areas of quality, health, safety, and the environment. You work closely with Project Managers and other team members to achieve the best results. You also play a crucial role in supporting the service department in analyzing and solving technical problems.
In this role you have a wide range of tasks which consists of:
- Working together in (multidisciplinary) project teams;
- Creating requirements for material, components, and services to meet the specifications of end clients, legal and other;
- Design and maintain the electrical hardware diagrams;
- Cooperating in estimating throughput time and working time for engineering tasks;
- Support the quotation process to ensure a proper feasible technology offer will be sent to the end client;
- Make and maintain hardware documentation, instruction manuals and test protocols;
- Coordinate electro technical hardware assembly activities;
- Support Project Management in signalizing deviations in technical realization, quality, and costs;
- Report progress and status to the Project Manager;
- Support the service department in analyzing and solving issues to find the optimum solution in respect to cost/quality ratio of components and suppliers.

Job requirements
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree within a technical field such as Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field;
- 5+ years progressive experience within a development industry machine building environment;
- Experience with E-Plan (preference);
- Experience with Beckhoff PLC systems (preference);
- Knowledgeable of quality standards for electrical designs and diagrams;
- Knowledgeable of safety standards for electrical designs and diagrams;
- Taking ownership and accountability;
- Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively within (multidisciplinary) teams;
- Ability to multi-tasking, prioritize and manage multiple issues and projects at one time;
- Planning and organizing skills;
- Willing to travel when needed for installation, start-up, or 3rd line service;
- Languages; English, Dutch and/or German (preference).
